Matt Andres and Russell Alton feature their new work at their show, 'Chopped Angles' at the wallfarmers gallery. Both Matt and Russell in attendance!

Matt:
Comes with a background in animation and design, Matt began creating music inspired character/cartoon pieces. As his art developed he started to focus and appreciate the abstract designs that appeared in the background of these pieces.

This new series is a result of wanting to explore his more detailed oriented state of mind. As time rapidly passes by, we need to find ways to detach from the everyday cycle and into a place of zen. The organic shapes and swirls of this recent work embrace a form of meditation."

Russell:
"I want my life to be well-crafted, to have a bit of humour mingled with meaningful moments, to reference & remember the past which has brought us to this point, and to take it forward into the unknown.
I think if I can make my art contain these elements, my life will follow suit."
