In early February, during my customary week long visit, I attended another fantastic art show at Antisocial Skateshop on Main St.. Cool kids, Merida Anderson and Lindsey Hampton constructed a giant diorama at the mini gallery in the back of the long time local skateshop.

things we learned when we were young...was not the kind of art show that you experience by simply standing in a room with images on the wall, but rather a leg work of peepholes that offer tiny glimpses of an imaginary world come to life.

The tiny holes made it especially difficult to photograph the magic but probably because it is meant to be an experience, not just translated through a digital photo.

Each hole in the wall had another perspective of varying degrees of whimsy. Some views are hazed, some are mostly clear...

...and some you can't see at all.

...but the point is that you're there.

This was my favorite.

Then of course I ruined my imagination with facts.

I have been caught up in doing some work for another arty group, which I will tell you about later, hence the delay of this post and several more that should have been up weeks ago. For this, I apologize. I was just informed that this instillation was cut short by a week and may already be down, so if you are in Vancouver and happen by Antisocial, maybe take a look to see if this is still kickin

I usually get word of their shows at the very last second so I'm sure if this is no longer up for viewing, they will be working another brilliant show.

launch party/art show
n/aMassive THANKS to everyone who came out
for the wallfarmers(dot)ca launch party/art show
 at The Freakin Coffeeshop!

Donations ...
for those who wish to give.

Hey friends... like what we do? Want more artists featured, art shows covered, merchandise offered, then we could sure use a hand.  In turn, we will keep on keepin' on, putting on bigger art shows and digging deeper for more super rad art.

Big ups in advance!
